Alternative Press Expo 2008

The theme this week might be “cool events that Steve can’t attend.” I saw Scott Beale / Laughing Squid’s photos from the Alternative Press Expo 2008 in San Francisco today, and thought how much I would like to have attended. Then I thought how much I would have liked to attend with a nice library budget for buying stuff.
Anybody out there who can provide a librarians’ perspective on APE2008?
